Life is a Sermon

As I live my life,
what do people see?
Am I being a child of God,
or an actor playing a role?
When I'm kind to others,
am I really glorifying myself?
Do people see a disciple,
or am I hypocrite?

If my life is a sermon,
what is it do I preach?
Do my words bring Him glory?
Do my actions show faithfulness?
Only the Lord knows my soul;
my heart is an open book.
Without His grace, I am nothing
but a lost child in the wilderness.
