Heaven Is...

Heaven is in the eyes of children,
full of wonder and without care.
They trust others without worry,
no hurt or pain has touched their souls.

Heaven is in the gardens,
seeds are planted and nurtured
while given attention and love,
only to grow and multiply,
until the harvest reaps its reward.

Heaven is the love couples share,
a union of faithfulness,
unwavering even in the hard times,
committed to sharing eternity.

Heaven is the song birds sing;
a melody of praise and thanks,
another day in the warming light
that envelops our mortal shells.

Heaven is the love of God.
His spirit warms our hearts
as we feel his loving touch.
Just a whisper in our ears
and we are filled with joy!
