Teacher's Prayer

Help me teach my students
the skills they need;
grant me courage
and be mentor and guide.
Teach me how to be a friend,
a good listener and healer.

Grant me the strength to have  
confidence in my skills
and to take criticism.
Comfort my heart when things go wrong;
fill my soul with determination
and enlighten my mind.

Lord, watch over and guide me
to make the right decisions.
Grant me wisdom, I pray.
